This idea was born from a frustration I often heard on the phone: "We would love to come for two days as a group, but it's so complicated to find a cottage, sort out transport, coordinate the activities…". So I built a simple package: character house + outdoor activities in a single bundle. You arrive Friday evening, you leave Sunday evening, and in between, you have nothing to think about.
The house is in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, on the heights of Mostuéjouls, at the confluence of the Tarn and Jonte Gorges. It is a traditional stone building of the Grands Causses, carefully restored: exposed stone, timber roof structure, south-facing terrace overlooking the limestone cliffs, walled garden for the aperitif. Five minutes from the activity meeting points. Right at the foot of the cliffs.
The bet: that the group goes home feeling they have lived a real break, not a logistical weekend. It is more than accommodation, and more than activities. It is a complete experience.
Many cottage owners offer a house. Many instructors offer activities. Very few offer the two in a unified package, with genuine geographic coherence (5 minutes between the accommodation and the meeting points) and a single point of contact for everything (me). Arrive Friday 5 pm, leave Sunday 5 pm. Two activities of your choice (via ferrata + canyoning combo for example). Welcome aperitif, linen provided.
Thursday 5 pm to Sunday 5 pm. Three activities across the Tarn / Jonte / Dourbie triptych. One free day to breathe or to hike.
Immersive week-long stay, four guided activities spread across the week. Free time to visit Millau, the Viaduct, the Larzac, the villages of the karst plateaus.

You book a weekend or a full stay: accommodation in a character house + professional guiding on the chosen activities. I take care of everything: logistics, equipment, weather, coordination. You just turn up with your bags and the appetite. One point of contact, one payment, one trust to give.
The house sleeps 6 to 12 people, across 5 bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 twins, 1 family). Beyond 12, I can organise additional accommodation with partners in the immediate vicinity.
In the heart of the Cévennes National Park and the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park, in Mostuéjouls (12720, Aveyron). 5 minutes' walk from the climbing and via ferrata meeting points, 10 minutes by car from the nearest canyons. View over the Tarn and Jonte Gorges from the terrace.
You choose from: via ferrata du Boffi, via ferrata de Liaucous, canyon du Tapoul, canyon du Tayrac, canyon du Bramabiau, multi-pitch climbing, sport climbing Jonte. Paragliding can be added as an extra.
No catering on site: the house has a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, utensils). You can self-cater or I can refer you to local caterers or partner restaurants in Millau and the valley (Aveyron cuisine, karst plateau cured meats, Roquefort and Aubrac cheeses).

In high season (June to September, especially weekends), 6 to 10 weeks minimum. Off-season, 3 to 4 weeks is enough. For stag or hen weekends, allow plenty of time as the house is often booked several months in advance.
Yes. The house is heated (fireplace + central heating). Winter activities possible depending on the weather: via ferrata de Liaucous, climbing on south-facing sun-exposed routes, naturalist hikes on the karst plateaus. Canyoning is on a break from November to May.
I always have an in-house plan B: climbing in a sheltered cave, indoor technical session, cultural visit (Roquefort, the Viaduct, Micropolis, the Vulture Information Centre). The accommodation stays valid whatever happens. The stay never falls through.
